Government has no role in demolishing Kangana’s office, BMC complies with its rules: Sharad Pawar
Kangana Ranaut had bought her building from Sharad Pawar? Ohh!
Mumbai: Sharad Pawar, president of the ruling Shiv Sena’s ally Nationalist Congress Party in Maharashtra, has reiterated the Kangana Ranaut issue today. Shiv Sena is in power in the Mumbai Municipal Corporation. Sharad Pawar says that the Maharashtra government had no role to play in the demolition of the Mumbai office of film actress Kangna Ranaut. Expressing these views, Sharad Pawar has made a statement in this regard for the second time today.
In a statement today, he said that the government had nothing to do with the demolition of Kangana’s office. He said, ‘the state government has no role in demolishing. The decision has been taken by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). BMC follows its own rules. He said, ‘This is not the decision of the Government of Maharashtra or anyone else, it is their own decision.’
Actress drags Pawar into controversy
Though it is is a dispute between actress Kangana Ranaut and Shiv Sena, the later has also dragged NCP president Sharad Pawar into the dispute.
Kangana said, ‘The people hired (salaried) by the Maharashtra government are spreading false information. BMC did not send me any notice anywhere. I had all the documents BMC gave me for renewal. At least BMC should stand their ground. Why are they lying now?’
She did a post raising such a question. In fact, the BMC had sent a notice to Kangana’s flat in Khar. BMC did not give any notice to Pali Hill flat, which was acted upon by BMC on Wednesday.
The notice sent by BMC was not only for me but for the entire building. This was not just my flat issue. This notice needs to be disposed of by the builder. The building belongs to Sharad Pawar. We bought this flat from his partner. He is responsible for this.’
Speaking on Kangana’s allegations, Sharad Pawar said without naming Kangna, ‘I also want someone to build such a building in my name.’ Actually! Should anyone who is speaking be expected to speak responsibly? that is the question.’
It should be noted that two days ago, Sharad Pawar termed the demolition of Kangana Ranaut’s Mumbai office as an unnecessary step and said that people like Kangana should not be given much hype.
