10 students killed in a bomb blast in an Afghanistan madrasa
A bomb blast at a madrasa in Ishkamish district of Takhar State killed 10 students and injured 8 others.
Kabul: In a madrasa in Afghanistan’s northeastern province of Takhar, a bomb blast on Thursday killed 10 students and injured 8 others.
A source in Ishkamish district said that a powerful bomb exploded in a madrasa in Shahr-e-Kahana. 10 students died and 8 others were injured. The injured have been admitted to hospital.
Takhar Police spokesperson Khalilullah Asir confirmed the incident but stated the death toll was different. He said the madrasa was attacked with rocket grenades, killing 7 students and injuring 8 others.
