Coronavirus knocks Myanmar

A 26-year-old and 36-year-old man have been found infected with the Coronavirus in Myanmar. Their samples will be sent for re-examination to a laboratory approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) in Thailand

New Delhi, March 24 (HAMS) India’s neighboring country Myanmar is now not safe from the global outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), and the first two cases of the infection have surfaced here.

A 26-year-old Myanmar man has been infected with the Coronavirus, who recently returned from the United Kingdom, the Myanmar Times quoted a Health Ministry report as saying. Moreover, a 36-year-old man who has been quarantined after the Coronavirus test was found positive. He holds a United States green card.

Once the coronavirus cases are confirmed in Myanmar, their samples will be sent for re-examination to a laboratory approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) in Thailand.
