Gandhi urges people to patiently defeat Coronavirus
New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi has thanked the citizens of India for keeping patience and peace during the 21-day lockdown. She has appealed to the people to stay at home and maintain social distance to defeating Coronavirus.
Mrs. Gandhi said in a message issued here today that the people who are following the lockdown should tell the people to follow ‘social distance’ and stay homes as much as possible. They should take full care of the cleanliness of their surroundings, wash hands periodically.” If you need to get out of the house for the most important work, just wear the mask, linen or wiggle. The country’s public support is essential in this war against the Coronavirus.”
She said, “all have to be united in the fight against Coronavirus because adhering to the duty is the biggest patriotism in this time of crisis”. She has also asked the party workers to help those who are in need. She asked the people to contact with the party control room if required.
Mrs. Gandhi said, “There is no greater patriotism in the coronavirus crisis than the persistence of government officials, including doctors, cleaning staff, police.” The Coronavirus can be defeated only through unity, discipline, and patience. At this difficult time, therefore, people who are engaged day and night service to protect the people and fight with the epidemic despite all the risks. Respect them all and provide full support.”
