Non-subsidized LPG gas cylinder prices reduced by Rs 162
New Delhi: Non-subsidized LPG gas cylinder prices were reduced by Rs 162 amid a complete lockdown across the country due to the global epidemic Coronavirus (COVID-19). This is a piece of good news for consumers using cooking gas (LPG) came today.
The price of non-subsidized LPG cylinders has been reduced by Rs 162. According to the country’s leading oil retailing company, the new rate is effective from today. In Delhi, the price of non-subsidized cylinder will be reduced by Rs 162.50 from Rs 744 to Rs 581 – 50 per cylinder for the month of May.
The government gives cooking gas to consumers at a subsidized rate of 12 cylinders in a financial year. The market price has to be paid for more than 12cylinders per year. The new rate will be Rs 579 per cylinder in Mumbai, Rs 584.50 in Kolkata and Rs 569.50 per cylinder in Chennai.
