Petrol is more expensive again, highest level since 24 October 2018
In the national capital, the price of petrol increased by 19 paise to Rs 81.19 per liter. This is the highest level since 24 October 2018.
New Delhi: Petrol prices rose for the second consecutive day today, while diesel prices remained stable for the 21st consecutive day. According to Indian Oil Corporation, the country’s largest oil marketing company, the price of petrol in the national capital of Delhi has increased by 19 paise to Rs 81.19 per liter. This is the highest level since 24 October 2018.
In Kolkata and Mumbai, the price has increased by 19 paise to Rs 82.72 and Rs 87.87 per liter respectively. Petrol in Chennai increased by 17 paise to Rs 84.26 per liter. In Delhi, the price of diesel remained stable at Rs 73.56 per liter. It was priced at Rs 77.06 per liter in Kolkata, Rs 78.86 per liter in Chennai and Rs 80.11 per liter in Mumbai.
