Moscow: Police in London have said that it has arrested 90 protesters for violating the rules of public protest. The police have arrested as many as 90 people by 6 p.m Tuesday for contempt of public order, obstructing the highway and police and assaulting an emergency worker.
Reportedly, environmental groups in Britain have been staging protests for two weeks, resulting in hundreds of people gathering in front of the British Parliament in London on Tuesday.
The protesters had said that the purpose of sitting in Parliament Square is to draw attention of the government to the issue of climate change.
