Situation peaceful after ceasefire takes effect in Nagorno-Karabakh
Nagorno-Karabakh region is peaceful now after a ceasefire on humanitarian ground. The conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenian forces began on 27 September over the Nagorno-Karabakh region.
Yerevan: The situation is peaceful since the new ceasefire took effect on humanitarian grounds in the disputed region Nagorno-Karabakh between Azerbaijan and Armenia. The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has shared this information.
Vahram Poghosyan, the official spokesman for the unrecognized Artsakh Republic (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic), wrote on his Facebook page that the new ceasefire took effect from midnight local time on Saturday.
He said that the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh region is peaceful. The conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenian forces began on 27 September over the Nagorno-Karabakh region.
