More than 200,000 COVID-19 patients got cured in India
New Delhi: Amid a growing number of positive cases of infection with the coronavirus (Covid 19) in India, here is a piece of the good news of cured people. More than two lakh people infected with Coronavirus have been cured and discharged from hospitals. Now, the number of deaths has also decreased over the last two days.
According to data released on Friday by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the number of infected people has increased to 3,80,532 with 13,586 new cases of coronavirus infection. In the last 24 hours, 336 people died, while on Thursday the number of dead was 334 and on Wednesday the figure was 2003.
The death toll from the infection has now risen to 12,573. There are 1,63,248 active cases of coronavirus in the country at present. With a number of 10,386 more people recovered, the number of disinfected people has increased to 2,04,711.
Maharashtra, the worst affected with the coronavirus outbreak, recorded 3752 cases of the infection in the last 24 hours while 100 people died. With this, the number of infected cases in the state has increased to 1,20,504 and the number of dead has increased to 5751. During this period, 1672 infected people have been recovered in the state, after which the number of cured people has increased to 60,838.
