Highest number of Covid-19 cases in India: 7,466 new cases recorded
New Delhi: The number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases is on the rise in the country. As the number of cases is increasing, with a total of 7,466 new cases of infection reported in the last 24 hours. 1,65,799 and 175 people have died in this period.
In the last 24 hours, 3414 people have been recovered in different parts of the country. The total number of cured people is 71,106.
So far, 1,65,799 cases test positive and 4,706 people died in various states and Union Territories. At present, there are a total of 89987 active cases of Coronavirus. The figures have been released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare today (on Friday). The country saw a decrease in new cases on Wednesday and Tuesday. There were 6387 new cases on Wednesday and 6535 new cases on Tuesday.
Maharashtra has been the most affected state by the epidemic in the country. Coronavirus has caused a lot of havoc in the state. In the last 24 hours, 2598 new cases have come to light in Maharashtra. The number has risen to 59,546. The deadly virus has killed 1,982 people in the state so far and 18,616 have recovered from the infection.
