India ranked fourth in list of most affected Covid-19 countries of world


The highest number of 10956 new cases of coronavirus was reported in the last 24 hours in India. The total number of infected people has now reached 298,000. There are currently 141,842 active cases of Coronavirus while 147,195 people have managed to get rid of it.

New Delhi: The highest number of 10956 cases of coronavirus has been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. The number of total affected people has reached 2.98 lakh. India has been ranked in the fourth position in the list of most affected countries in the world.

The highest number of deaths from coronavirus infection during this period was 396, bringing the death toll to 8498. India ranks fourth in the world surpassing the United Kingdom in terms of positive cases. 2.98 lakh people are infected with the virus in India, while 2.92 lakh people are infected in the UK. But the death toll in the UK is about five times higher than in India. 8498 people have died from the epidemic in India so far, while 41364 people have died in the UK from COVID-19.

The United States tops the list of countries infected with the coronavirus in the world with 2,023,385 cases and 113,818 deaths so far. The list followed by Brazil (8.03 lakh) and Russia (5.02 lakh). India is in fourth place (2.98 lakh), Spain is in fifth place (2.43 lakh) and Italy is in sixth place (2.36 lakh) of the most affected countries with COVID-19.
