Covid-19 cases increase from 800,000 to more than 900,000 in India in three days
The good news among the fast-growing cases of infection is that the number of people recovering from the infection is increasing steadily.
New Delhi: Amidst the terrible condition of COVID-19 cases in India, the number of infected people has increased from 800,000 to more than 900,000 in just three days. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the number of coronavirus infections crossed 8 lakh on Saturday to 8,20,912. On Tuesday it crossed 9 lakh to 9,06,752.
According to the data released by the ministry on Tuesday, 28,498 new cases of infection have been reported across the country in the last 24 hours. This has increased the number of infected people to 9,06,752. During last three days, the number of infections has continuously increased to more than 28,000.
Earlier, there were 28,637 cases on Sunday and 28,701 on Monday. However, compared to the previous two days, the number of positive cases has decreased slightly today.
Among the rapidly increasing cases of infection, there is good news that the number of people recovering from the disease is steadily increasing. In the last 24 hours, a total of 177189 patients have recovered, out of which a total number of 5,71,460 patients have recovered as of now.
So far, 3,11,565 cases of coronavirus infection have been active in the country. The total number of deaths has increased to 23,727 from 553 during the last 24 hours.
