Demand for reconstitution of the Central Hajj Committee, it expires in June
Demanding immediate reconstitution of the Central Hajj Committee, President of Maharashtra State Haj Committee Jamal Siddiqui said that the term of the present committee is coming to an end in June. Therefore, the government should immediately take necessary steps in this regard and reconstitute the Central Hajj Committee as soon as possible.
Mumbai: Jamal Siddiqui said regarding the reconstitution of the Central Haj Committee, that it was very important to reconstitute it as soon as possible. He has also written a letter to the Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi in this regard.
He said that the term of the present Central Haj Committee had expired a year ago. According to the regulations, the government has twice extended the term of the committee by six months. Therefore, it is necessary to form a new Hajj Committee immediately.
He said that there was already uncertainty regarding the Hajj this year. People are worried and doubtful whether they will be able to perform their duty or not. Therefore, a new Hajj Committee should be formed immediately. This will remove any obstacle in performing Hajj.
According to Jamal Siddiqui, if the current committee, whose term expires in June, is not reconstituted soon, many problems will arise. and there are fears that work related to Hajj will be affected.
