Manmohan Singh stable, under observation at AIIMS

New Delhi: Dr. Manmohan Singh’s health is stable now who is under medical observation. Former prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh is stable and under the care of a doctors’ team at the Cardiothoracic Centre of AIIMS. He is at present admitted at the AIIMS, the country’s premier medical institution.

According to the hospital sources, Dr. Singh was taken to AIIMS on Sunday night after he developed a febrile reaction to a new medication. Health investigations are underway. Dr. Singh is being provided the utmost care required for him. Sources said that the causes of fever are being investigated.

Dr. Singh is under the observation of Dr. Nitish Nayak and team, who has also been Dr. Singh’s doctor earlier. The former prime minister was admitted to the Cardiothoracic Sard at All India Institute of Medical Science late Sunday night.

87 year old Dr. Singh has undergone bypass surgery back in 2009. Congress leader Dr. Singh is a member of the Rajya Sabha.
