House adjourned thrice due to uproar in Lok Sabha

New Delhi: The House had to adjourn for the third consecutive time on Friday due to the uproar of angry Congress members over the controversial remarks of Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur related to Jawaharlal Nehru and the Gandhi family.
After being adjourned twice, as soon as the House resumed its proceedings at 5 pm, the Congress members came into the aisle and started sloganeering seeking apology from the Minister. National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah and Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav stood in his place and wanted to say something.
Presiding Speaker Ms. Rama Devi, after seeing the scene, announced the adjournment of the House within a minute till 5.30 pm.
