Mamta Banerjee condoles death of Uttar Pradesh journo, calls it atmosphere of fear

Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has expressed shock over the death of a journalist. A journalist Vikar Joshi was shot dead by unidentified miscreants in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad district. Ms. Banerjee said that an atmosphere of fear is being created in the country.
He was shot in UP for filing an FIR to book his niece’s molesters. An atmosphere of fear has been created in the country. Voices being muzzled.

Journalist Joshi was shot dead by miscreants in Vijayanagar area of Ghaziabad district on Monday. He died while he was under treatment on Wednesday morning.

Condoling Joshi’s death, Ms. Banerjee took to the tweeter today and said, “My heartfelt condolences to the family of Vikram Joshi, a fearless journalist who passed away today.
