This flag hoisting act was carried out in the dark of night. The locals saw the flag in the morning and informed the police. On the other hand, the incident has also gone viral on social media. Superintendent of Police Ashok Sharma arrived on the spot and outpost in-charge Gurpreet Singh reached the spot along with the police team and seized the flag. The police questioned the staff and watchmen of the Market Committee but there was no trace of the accused.
