Number of coronavirus patients reach 3 lakh in Delhi in just 29 days
The recovery rate from Covid-19 in the national capital has increased from 85.87 percent to 90.33 percent and the number of active cases has come down from 1541 to 23233 from 23773
New Delhi: In just 29 days in the national capital, the total number of Covid positive cases has increased from two to three lakhs. More than one thousand patients have also died during this period.
The first case of coronavirus in Delhi was reported on 02 March and one lakh people got infected in the first 126 days i.e. on 06 July. At the same time, the number of infected gone up to two lakhs in just 65 days.
On September 9, there were 2,011,114 patients in Delhi and, after that, in just 29 days, on October 8, the total number of infected people has crossed from 300,000 to 300,833. Meanwhile, 1015 patients died of the virus. A total of 5653 patients have died of coronavirus in Delhi.
The good news for Delhi during this period was that more than one lakh patients were cured. On September 9, the total number of people who cured was 172,763. In the last 29 days i.e. till October 8, 100185 more patients were cured and the number of people recovering from the virus reached 272,948.
