Petrol-diesel prices remain stable for fifth consecutive day
According to Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), petrol in Delhi today stood at Rs 81.06 per liter while diesel remained stable at 70.46 per liter
New Delhi: There was no change in the prices of petrol and diesel on Wednesday for the fifth consecutive day. Diesel prices were reduced on October 1 and 2, while the price of petrol remained constant on the fifteenth day today.
Diesel has become cheaper by more than Rs 3 per liter in the last one month. The demand for crude oil has not increased yet due to the global epidemic novel coronavirus.
According to oil marketing company Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), petrol in Delhi today stood at Rs 81.06 while diesel remained stable at Rs 70.46 per liter.
Petrol in the commercial city of Mumbai stood at Rs 87.74 per liter and diesel at Rs 76.86 per liter. Petrol in Kolkata remained unchanged at Rs 82.59 per liter and diesel at Rs 73.99 per liter. In Chennai, the price of petrol remained at Rs 84.14 per liter and diesel at Rs 75.99 per liter.
