Prayag Raj: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers protest against agriculture bill, 20 held

BJP government has breached the farmers’ trust. AAP has appealed to the President not to sign this ordinance

Prayag Raj: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers staged a sit-in protest in front of Mahatma Gandhi’s statue at Belsan intersection here on Friday, describing the agricultural bills passed by the government as anti-farmer.

The District President of Aam Aadmi Party, Dr. Altaf Ahmed, accused the government of being anti-farmer, saying that with the capitalist mindset, the Central Government has passed the bill on agriculture by throwing dust in the eyes of Parliament.

The BJP government has betrayed the trust of the country’s farmers. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has appealed to the President not to sign this ordinance. On this occasion, the police arrested 15 protesters, along with 20 activists
