SC adjourns petition on relief measures for migrants workers till Tuesday

Private hospitals should provide treatment at fixed cost under Ayushman Yojana?

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has issued a directive to regulate the transportation of migrant workers heading to their villages and provide them with proper medical care due to the nationwide lockdown in the country. The Supreme Court has asked the central government to present its stand by Tuesday.

A special bench of Chief Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde and Justice El Nageshwar, Alakh Alok Srivastava and Solicitor General Tushar Mehta heard the arguments of the petitioner through videoconferencing of the case and adjourned the hearing till 12 noon on Tuesday.
