Union Home Minister Amit Shah admitted to AIIMS
New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) late on Monday night. A health bulletin released by AIIMS on Tuesday morning says, ‘The Home Minister has been admitted for Covid-19 surveillance. He is feeling good and is continuing his work in the hospital.’
On August 14, he was discharged from Medanta Hospital, Gurugram, after testing negative for Covid-19. Mr. Shah was admitted to the old AIIMS private ward at around 2;00 am. He is being treated under the supervision of AIIMS director Dr. Randeep Galeria.
On August 14, Amit Shah was discharged from the Medanta Hospital on the same day after recovering from the coronavirus. He was on rest at home on the advice of doctors. The Home Minister had tested positive for Coronavirus on 2 August.
