Eid-ul-Azha was carefully observed in many parts of the world, including Saudi Arabia, America, Turkey, Afghanistan, Egypt, Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain, Qatar, Iran, Indonesia and Malaysia. After 86 years in the Turkish capital Istanbul, Eid-ul-Azha prayers were offered at the Aya Sofia Mosque. 

New Delhi: The festival of Eid-ul-Azha was celebrated with religious fervor in all Gulf countries, Saudi Arabia, America, Turkey and many European countries today, ensuring precautionary measures in the wake of the Coronavirus.

Eid-ul-Azha is also being celebrated in Afghanistan, Egypt, Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain, Qatar, Iran, Egypt and Malaysia. Prayers were carefully conducted in various mosques including Masjid-al-Haram and Masjid-e-Nabvi. A significant number of others, including the Haji people, paid double.

On this occasion, special prayers were made for the true glory of Islam, the progress and protection of Muslims. After 86 years in the Turkish capital Istanbul, Eid-ul-Azha prayers were offered at the Aya Sofia Mosque.

Strict measures were also taken in the United Arab Emirates on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha in the wake of fears of the Covid-19. Apart from Eid, prayers are also offered in homes in some parts of the world, and animals are also sacrificed by local bodies in special slaughterhouses.

In Indonesia, Eid-ul-Azha prayers were arranged with social distance due to the coronavirus. Worshipers offered prayers on Eid-ul-Azha wearing masks.
