2,692 new cases of Covid-19 in Saudi Arabia, total cases reach 237,803
The total number of Covid-19 cases has increased to 237,803, with 2,692 new cases reported in Saudi Arabia. During last 24 hours, the fatality has increased to 2,283, with 40 recent deaths.
Riyadh: As many as 2692 new cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19) have been reported in Saudi Arabia. With these fresh infections, the total number of cases has increased to 237,803.
The Saudi Health Ministry said in a tweet that there have been 40 deaths from Coronavirus infection during last 24 hours. It has brought the total number of deaths from the epidemic to 2,283.
Mohammad Abdul Ali, a spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Health, told a daily press conference on Tuesday that the number of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia is gradually decreasing these days. The ministry said that the total number of healthy patients has increased to 177,560 with the recovery of 7,718 new patients from Covid.
There are 57,960 active cases in Saudi Arabia, of which 2,230 patients are being treated in ICU.
