30 Houthi rebels killed in clashes with army in Yemen

Most of the clashes take place in the Marib area but the area is under the government’s control. Civil war has been going on in Yemen since 2014.

Sanaa: At least 30 Houthi rebels have died in a skirmish with the army in Marib, Yemen’s central province. The army officer gave detailed information about the clash.

On the condition of anonymity, the source said that people from both sides were injured in the clash in Marib’s Sirwah. Meanwhile, Information Minister Moammar al-Erayani tweeted that after defeating the Houthi rebels, the army has occupied several strategic areas in Sirwah.

Al-Erayani said, “Massive victories by National Army &Popular Resistance, w support of Coalition to Support Legitimacy, led by bros in KSA &liberation of strategic sites after launching a qualitative attack from 4 axes on northwestern in Almakhdra & Medghal fronts.”

“Attack resulted in recovery of Saffra Al Saanon, Jabal Tebeen, Saffra aal Ruqayban, aal Samran, Annashifah Asufla, aal Nader, Al-Baqma station, Al-Gharayeq, aal Hamad, aal Madraj, Abulhum in Azumul, aal Shiban, aal Jumaih, Al-Maqadisha, Aal Kharsan aal Sharhan &aal Dawas”, he added.

He further wrote in the series of tweets, “Iranian-backed Houthis militia suffers daily in Marib, Al-Jouf, Al-Baidha fronts huge losses in lives &equipment, & unprecedented collapses on fronts in light of national army,&resistance progress w support of Coalition to Support Legitimacy 2repel the Persian terrorist project.”
