Saudi Arabian man jailed for 12 years for lying to the FBI
Washington, Oct 04 (HAMS) A United States court has sentenced a Saudi national to 12 years in prison for lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
35 years old Naif Abdul Aziz M. Alfallaj lied to officers about participating in an al-Qaeda-run training camp in Afghanistan.
The Department of Justice has issued a statement Thursday. “Naif Abdul Aziz M. Alfalaz, 35, a Saudi national and resident of Akhom’s Weatherford in the United States, has been sentenced to 151 months imprisonment,” the statement said. Al-Fallaj was sentenced for lying in connection with an al-Qaeda-led training camp in Afghanistan after 2000.
According to a US Department of Justice statement, the US military said it was possible to identify Al-Qaeda with a fingerprint on an al-Qaeda request from a battlefield in Afghanistan.
