8 Islamic State terrorists killed in anti-terrorism operation in Iraq
Baghdad: Eight Islamic State terrorists have been killed in a security operation in Iraq’s Diyala and Salahuddin provinces. Sources close to the security department said today that based on intelligence information, security forces launched a security operation in the Talab Valley.
The Talab Valley area where terrorists were killed is 140 kilometres northeast of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. In this operation, four IS terrorists were killed and six of their hideouts were destroyed along with two motorcycles.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Al-Bazi, an officer of the police in Salahuddin, said that four terrorists wearing suicide belts were killed in an attack by security forces in Al-Jazeea area. The area is in the western part of the province.
