Demonstration outside UN office against killing of George Floyd

Protesters gathered at the United Nations office demanding to pass a resolution that condemns racist violence in the United States. Protesters were also demanding a reduction in police funding.

New York: People have staged protest against the assassination of black American George Floyd outside the United Nations office in New York. They Demanded to pass a resolution condemning the United States.

About 100 people demonstrated at the UN entrance on Saturday. The demonstrators were demanding an impartial investigation into racial violence in the United States by UN Human Rights experts.

Protesters called on the United Nations office entrance to pass a resolution condemning racist violence in the United States. Protesters were also demanding a reduction in police funding.

A day earlier, on Friday, experts of the UN Human Rights Commission condemned the death of George Floyd and called for progressive reform and justice.
