Covid-19 cases in Brazil cross 2.3 million
The number of covid-19 cases in Brazil has crossed 2.3 million. Brazil is the second most COVID affected country after the US.
Brasília: Novel coronavirus spread in the South American country Brazil is increasing continuously. The total number of COVID-19 positive cases has increased to 2,343,366 after 55,891 new cases were confirmed in the country in the last 24 hours.
The Health Ministry said that the death toll from Coronavirus has increased to 85,238 after the deaths of 1,156 people in the country. So far, 1.59 people have recovered.
Earlier in Brazil, 59,961 people were infected and 1,311 patients died in just a day. Brazil is the second most affected country by the Coronavirus after the US.
On the other hand, according to Johns Hopkins University, more than 10 million people have been infected with COVID so far, while 636,000 people have died.
