Women leaders of the world prove to be better corona warriors than men
Washington: The New York Times praised female leaders in its latest article around the world, including New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, for fighting with Coronavirus. The newspaper says that the women have performed much better to deal with COVID-19 epidemic as compared to men.
The newspaper writes that Angela Merkel conducted early testing in Germany and managed to control the coronavirus outbreak. Later, she sent millions of face masks to the United States and other European countries.
Similarly, in Iceland, Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir arranged free corona testing in the country.
The Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederickson, and the Prime Minister of Finland Sanna Marin, both 34 years old, also handled the corona crisis pretty well. The Prime Minister of Norway, Erna Solberg, did the same.
