Iran’s letter to the UN Secretary General against US
Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif has written a letter to the United Nations Secretary-General informing that the United States is putting hurdles on Venezuela’s oil supplies to Iran. Javad Zarif says the US Navy’s deployment in the Caribbean is meant to interfere in the supply of Iranian oil to Venezuela, and that any such move would be illegal and a form of looting.
He warned that the United States would be responsible for the consequences of any illegal activities. Iranian media say there are reports of four US Navy ships deployed in a possible collision with Iranian tankers.
On the other hand, the US diplomat says Venezuela is paying Iran in gold to revive its oil field. It should be noted that the United States has imposed unilateral sanctions on the oil exports between Iran and Venezuela.
